Case Study #1: National Cable Company Off-Network Extension
- Situation: Company needed to aggregate voice and data traffic onto their core network, but local network nodes are often in remote, rural locations.
- Solution: Cable company turned to GTT to provide off-net extension services to all rural customers. This is 100% outsourced to GTT.
- Benefit: Cable Company has leveraged GTT’s operation instead of adding about 5 heads to its internal staff, or about $500,000 annually, plus network provisioning is approximately 25% faster than it would have been otherwise.

Case Study #2: U.S.- based Ethernet Provider Global Network Extension
- Situation: US-based Ethernet provider mandated a sharp increase in sales, and quicker delivery time frames. Provider had limited network coverage, and higher sales activity spiked the amount of off-net circuit requirements.
- Solution: GTT stepped in to provide quotes in 24 hours from multiple providers and then delivered through provisioning leased line,Ethernet network, and MPLS Network services to meet the spike in demand.
- Benefits: Ethernet carrier was much more effective delivering in Tier 2/3 markets than they would have internally, and met new install/new business objectives.

Case Study #3: International Satellite Carrier’s Global Network Requirement
- Situation: Satellite Carrier required a DS3 from London to Tunisia and did not have the requisite experience to work with African network providers. With only 15 days left in the committed timeframe, the Satellite Carrier’s current network provider quit and the Satellite Carrier turned to GTT for help.
- Solution: With only 15 days remaining before the network would be late, GTT leveraged its supplier wholesale agreement in Tunisia, and GTT designed an Ethernet network with last mile point to point wireless networking solution. Satellite Carrier accepted the design and GTT installed the solution just 12 days later.
- Benefits: Without GTT’s global network reach and network integrator capabilities, the Satellite Carrier would have missed this committed network installation and would have incurred a $5,000+ late fee for the end customer.
